Tollerene makes up for most of his losses to Blom
What Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene demonstrated at the end of the week is that you cannot keep a professional player down. He fought back from a loss of $1.7 million and in a single session against Viktor “Isildur1” Blom this week was able to make up for a loss of $1.5 million suffered by him in a different engagement with the professional player from Sweden.
The HighStakesDB reported on the comeback, saying the Blom began the session with $200,000 more, but regardless, Tollerene stood his ground and made for a successful session of 150 minnutes that ended with Tollerene being up with $290,000.
After a 90 minute break, the duo engaged yet again in the heads up. The Swede was again hammered by Tollerene, in a half hour play, this time for $525,000. This time the play was on the two virtual tables of Full Tilt Poker.
Taking a long break the two aces parted for some time and returned later to face each other after none hours in what transpired into a session of four-and-a-half hours in which the action was plenty. Initially Blom took the beating but then came back to surge ahead strongly, only to lose completely in the last 600 hands and witness one million slip from his hands.
The final reckoning of Tollerene over the sessions demonstrated that he was up by a little less than $1.5 million. He still stands at a loss of $200,000 but nobody can know what the next fight between the two players will bring?
