A milestone is reached in the online digital strategy of the company
The nLive platform solution of the GameAccount Network’s (GAN) has been acquired by Aristocrat, the gaming machine manufacturer.
Covered in the agreement is the acquisition of the remote game server and the Internet gaming system of GAN, which positions Aristocrat in the service provider arena for Internet gaming platforms. In the online strategy of the firm, this is an important milestone and it helps increase the position of the company in regulated gaming markets by distributing content more rapidly through an RGS.
Aristocrat and GAN had partnered previously for the provision to North American-based land operators of internet gaming platform services via the platform nLive.
Jamie Odell, the managing director and chief executive officer of Aristocrat, said: “An integral part of our plans is the nLive platform. To our land based operators it offers a wager ready turn-key online virtual casino. Ever since in April it has been launched live in the US, impressive results have been delivered by nLive and a strong customer interest has been generated.
“Our commitment to extend the capabilities of our Casino Management Systems, leader on the market, into the digital space, stands. In this way we are expanding for our customers the view of the player and enrich the journey of the player while deliver content of quality through a digital platform, which is wager-ready.”
“In the digital strategy of Aristocrat, full platform ownership marks the next logical step. In the nLive platform, it provides innovation capabilities, a way to distribute the valuable content of Acrobat across a multitude of channels and meet our customers growing needs,” the senior vice president of Aristocrat, Manjit Gombra Singh, added.
Undisclosed remains the consideration.
